One of the gems of the North Carolina foothills is the Western Piedmont Symphony, based in Hickory, NC. The orchestra returns to Carolina Live with an all-Beethoven concert titled “Ludwig van Is the Man.” Hear the master composer’s Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus, the Symphony No. 4 in B-flat Major and the Violin Concerto in D-Major with guest violinist Marjorie Bagley. You’ll hear clearly why Beethoven is indeed “The Man!”
