South Carolina Philharmonic: Going for Baroque

CL-150621-300The ancient and the modern come together harmoniously on this edition of the program. From a January 2015 concert by the South Carolina Philharmonic there’s music ranging from Bach, Handel and Mozart to the 20th century master Ottorino Respighi as well as the contemporary Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. All of it shares a commitment to timeless musical values brought vividly to life by the orchestra led by their popular music director.
