Greenville Symphony Mozart & Brahms

tchivzhel-100Edvard Tchivzhel conducts works by Mozart and Brahms, from two concerts at the Gunter Theatre in Greenville, SC from the Fall of 2009. Mozart's Serenade No. 10, K. 361 in B-flat Major, 'Gran Partita' is a chamber work longer than most of his symphonies, including the Symphony No. 39 in E-flat, also on the program. In 1873 Brahms took a simple theme, attributed to Haydn, and wrote eight variations and a finale. Those works, plus a lesser-known Mozart Overture round out this edition of Carolina Live.
