huang2This program features what Argentinean composer Osvaldo Golijov describes as “a fantasy on My Beloved Buenos AiresOmaromar, featuring solo cellist Alisa Weilerstein. There’s also a performance of Telemann’s Concerto in G major for Viola, Strings, and Continuo, featuring emerging Spoleto Chamber Music star Hsin-yun Huang, joined by the St. Lawrence String Quartet, bassist Tony Manzo, and Colombian harpsichordist Ana Maria Fonseca, as well as Beethoven's epic “Kreutzer” Sonata (The Sonata No. 9 in A for Violin & Piano, Op. 47) in a commanding performance by violinist Chee-Yun and pianist Anne-Marie McDermott.
