Two programs from the Greenville Symphony Orchestra – from the Masterworks Series and the Chamber Series – comprise this edition of Carolina Live. Pianist Gabriela Martinez joins the orchestra for a program Made in America with Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F as well as music by Bernstein and émigré composer Sergei Rachmaninoff. The Chamber Series concert contributes a Baroque standard by Handel, and music by Richard Strauss inspired by the Baroque era and Moliere.
